You can also do this harpy eagle tour as an extension to your trip to the North Pantanal since we are lucky enough that there are several harpy eagle nests in the state of Mato Grosso. Due to long distances, it is advisable that you spend at least two days in the rapace area even though it is possible to dedicate only one full day to observe this impressive creature.

Here we get to stay on the top of a tower at a relatively close distance to the nest, while respecting the bird and its chick. Therefore you get to photograph this amazing raptor once you get to stay at the same level and height as its nest is. Beautiful shots and memories guarantee.

The little Harpy baby usually spends 12 months with its parents in the nest, making it a wonderful opportunity for us to spot them. So it is according to the pace of growth of the little one that we will decide the best time and which nest offers better conditions for observations. You should also keep in mind that the tower has a capacity for 8 people max.
