Pantanal is accessible to all, however if you want to go to Chapada dos Guimarães, be aware that you have to be used to walking. Don’t forget that the temperature can reach 37°C to 40°C (98.6°F to 104.00°F) easily.
Excellent! For sure, you won’t be starving. The pousadas offer hearty buffets made with local products (Vegetables: cassava roots, chayotes, sweet-potatoes and of course the traditional Brazilian arroz e feijão in other words rice and beans – Fish: it is often served the fried Pacu or a grilled Pintado which are the local fish – Meat: when we speak about meat in Brazil it means only beef but sometimes pork can be served too). Don’t forget to get some crudities unlike the pre-conceived ideas about South America, Brazilians are hygienic maniacs.
No, you can use it to brush and rinse your teeth but then you will have to spit it after doing it. Brazilian tap water in fact has too much chlorine and that is why you cannot drink it.
